Les Arcs- Villaroger
View Piste Map
La Rosière lift passes of 6 days or over give a day's skiing in Les Arcs at a reduced price. The run to Villaroger (snow conditions permitting) gives a vertical descent of over 2000 m. You can obtain your Les Arcs lift pass from one of the Les Arcs lift pass offices. The Les Arcs pass can be used on the furnicular from Bourg St Maurice to Arc 1600 (there is a lift pass office at the furnicular station in Bourg St Maurice).
From Arc 1600 use the lift system to Arc 2000 (you can see La Rosière across the valley from here). Then take the Dou de l'Homme lift (you pass over the Flying Kilometre speed skiing area) and then the cable car to the top of the Aiguille Rouge.
Red and black pistes descend to Villaroger - the red piste is Solliet and the black Aiguille Rouge (logically!).
A good lunch and refreshments can be had at La Ferme in the village of Le Pre at the bottom (near the bottom of the Replat 50 chairlift).
The lift system can then be used to return to Arc 1600 to catch the furnicular back to Bourg St Maurice.
One can also drive to Villaroger from La Rosière, and use the lift system to reach the top of the Aiguille Rouge, or drive to Pre St Esprit (just below Arc 2000). Parking (and bars and restaurants) is available at each and ski passes can also be obtained.
